I have been playing cello for over 20 years and currently perform regularly in London and the South East and teach from my home in Bexley.

I studied music at City University, London and received lessons via Guildhall School of Music and Drama, after which I joined the Royal Artillery Band.

Here, I was principal cellist for the RA Band, the Corps of Army Music Orchestra and the specially formed UK Armed Forces Orchestra in 2005.

I have played in orchestras, string quartets, pit orchestras, function ensembles, pop bands and am now exploring other ways of making music. Having been classically trained, I am learning about improvisation and looking for ways to collaborate with other musicians and singers.

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to perform with Mairi MacInnes, a wonderful Scots Gaelic singer at The Scottish Tattoo in April. The theme was Robert Burns 250; hear us perform Ae Fond Kiss.
